Where we are now
At Imagine, our aim is to offer an outstanding moving experience to anyone buying, selling, letting or renting through us.
We're independently owned, and an award-winning agency. Our exciting modern approach to the housing market with good old-fashioned principles of personal service has earned us recognition in the Estate Agency of the Year 2010, 2011 and 2012 awards. Our history
Mike Cole set up Imagine in April 2006. The name was the suggestion of Danny Payton, saying instead of, like most agents, using his name, he should have an emotion attached to it. Imagine seemed to fit the bill.
Our first branch was in Watford. Mike's local knowledge was limited but his background in estate agency and his vision for Imagine was very strong. By the end of our second year, we'd grown to a team of staff who all shared his goal of seeing Imagine as the number 1 sales and letting agent in Watford. You can meet the Watford team here.
We opened a branch in Bushey back in March 2009, and Jason Baker became a fully-fledged Partner. The team at Bushey have gone from strength to strength and both branches are now leading agents in their respective towns.
Having already expanded an agency during a tough market, it seemed right to spread our wings further. February 2012 saw our arrival in St. Albans, and Danny Payton become a Partner.
