I place substantial emphasis on getting the concept of ‘charity’ in to our mostly younger work force. I see it as a key principal in building the moral fibre and consciences of individuals who in this day and age are often thinking of just themselves. It also underpins us a place as part of a community.

In 2012 we have staff participating in numerous events in our region and raising funds for our nominated Charity for this year, Watford Peace Hospice. These specific events run alongside a challenge I set two teams of them to reach 2012 miles of exercise each over a 9 month period.

• STARLIGHT WALK – 13 MILES NIGHT WALK (TORRENTAL RAIN)

• ABBOTS LANGLEY TOUGH 10K

• PUSH FOR PEACE 5 MILE OBSTACLE COURSE

• THE LONDON TRIATHLON OLYMPIC

• THE LONDON TRIATHLON TEAM OLYMPIC

• LONDON TO CAMBRIDGE BIKE RIDE
